US apparel imports from Central America fell again in the second quarter of 2026. The decline was sharper than for total US imports. All six CAFTA-DR countries shipped lower volumes, but the results differ widely. Nicaragua lost nearly a third of its volumes and Honduras more than 10 percent. Guatemala and El Salvador limited their losses and increased the value of their sales. The Dominican Republic and Haiti declined in both volume and value.
