Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly)
Inflation declined in a series of low-income countries in October, reflecting higher interest rates and slowing economic activity. Our monthly report compares inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Our monthly report compares polyester staple fiber prices and polyester spun yarn prices in China, India, and Pakistan in both local currency terms and US$ terms. The gross margins of spinners are also calculated. Historical data back to 2007 are available for download.
EU Clothing Imports: Origin Comparison (Quarterly)
EU clothing imports rebounded in the first half this year with sharp differences in results depending on origins and product categories. Our series of statistical tables offer a comprehensive comparison of volume, value, and unit value changes per origin and product category in H1 2022. The report also includes a detailed comparison of unit prices through a series of indexes. Unit value changes in percentage terms and market shares per category and per origin are also released.
