Nylon prices rose in September on higher feedstock costs. Benzene and caprolactam followed crude oil higher after new tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. Nylon 6 filament producers passed most of the increase on to buyers and improved their margins. The rally lost momentum in the last week as crude oil and feedstock prices corrected.
