15 June 2010 - Nylon 6 prices are now declining in China, after significantly rising in the past 15 months. A weaker demand from the textile industry and lower raw material costs are behind the change in long-term trends on the polyamide market.
12 May 2010 - Nylon 6 prices began strongly rising in the past four weeks in China, over much higher raw material costs. Caproalactam prices are boosted by tight supply in Asia and the announcement of an anti-dumping investigation in China.
14 April 2010 - Nylon 6 prices further rose in the past four weeks in China, in line with a similar increase in caprolactam prices. Demand is however not so strong from downward processors while raw material costs of CPL makers are now declining in Asia.
9 March 2010 - Nylon prices are sharply rising in China, mostly due to strongly higher caproalactam and adipic acid prices. Anti-dumping duties also help, while downward demand is significantly increasing.
9 February 2010 - Nylon prices stabilized in the past week in China after significantly increasing over higher benzene and caprolactam prices. Demand from the textile industry is relatively strong, in addition.
