15 August 2018 - Yarn prices have remained relatively stable in the last days in India, ahead of National Day and a weaker weekly activity, consecutively. The fall of the Indian rupee in line with the Turkish crisis could offer support to yarn exporters. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports. China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)

14 August 2018 - Polyester fiber and in turn also spun polyester prices continue to rise in China, in line with strong demand and progressively increasing raw material costs. Viscose spun yarn prices have finally started rebounding, following the trend of the viscose staple fiber market. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Import prices are also available for yarns from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)

13 August 2018 - The polyester chain still rides the paraxylene train towards higher prices, as prices for PTA, polyester chips, polyester filament yarns and staple fiber are all up this week. The supply shortage on the PTA market suggests that prices will continue to rise, although perhaps at a slower rate. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

13 August 2018 - Cotton prices in New York have retreated this week, as new USDA estimates for production and ending stocks were bearish. Demand for cotton remains strong however, likely pushing prices back up in the coming period. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index".
