16 May 2013 - The viscose market looks increasingly depressed and prices further fell in last seven days in China, as a consequence. Our weekly report covers the viscose/rayon staple fiber and filament markets with historical data back to 2006 available for download. Viscose spun yarn prices are also released. Cotton linter and cotton pulp trends are being tracked over the last 12 months, in addition.
Polyester Prices Declining in China (Weekly Report)
15 May 2013 -Polyester prices began again decreasing in the past days in China, due to a lack of confidence in domestic textile and clothing industries. Our weekly report covers Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. US Apparel Imports in 1st Quarter 2013: Categories (Statistical Report)
14 May 2013 - US apparel imports more rose in man-made fiber apparel categories in first quarter this year than in cotton categories, with unit prices of man-made fiber products even falling. Our series of statistical tables offers a comprehensive view of US apparel imports per category of products, with volume, value and unit value changes, compared with percentage change in previous quarters and previous years.
Spun Yarn Prices in China (Weekly Report)
14 May 2013 -Chinese spun yarn prices did not significantly move in the past seven days, after market participants returned from May Day Holiday. Our weekly report covers the China yarn index and local markets in Zhejiang, Shandong and Liaoning with prices of a large number of counts being released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends.
