5 August 2010 - China's textile and clothing exports continued surging in June, for the second consecutive month, as clearly reflected by our series of statistical data. Clothing exports to the US and the EU were even stronger, compared with the previous month.
4 August 2010 - Sri Lanka's clothing exports began recovering in the second quarter but are now threatened by the removal of duty-free access to European market, effective from mid-August.
3 August 2010 - Bangladesh is currently experiencing a decisive social crisis with violent riots interrupting apparel production. This will result in a sharp increase in production costs in a country where exporters took advantage of very low prices in the past years, as reflected by our statistical tables.
22 July 2010 - US apparel imports from El Salvador rebounded this year, thanks to a lower growth in Chinese shipments, at the same time. The duty-free advantage and proximity with the US market are offering new opportunities to Salvadoran exporters.
