Turkey Confirms Heavy Textile/Clothing Import Duties
30 March 2011 - Turkey officially confirmed that heavy duties will be collected on fabric and apparel imports from most origins, effective from July 21st. The Council of Ministers however reduced maximum additional tariffs by 10% after importers strongly opposed the decision which could result in higher retail prices, they warned.
