6 September 2010 - Cotton prices again surged in the last week in New York with the A Index nearly reaching US$1 on the physical market. A sharp consolidation is however looming. Prices may now recede before sharply rebounding in the second part of the season, after India decided setting an annual cap on its cotton exports.
