Spandex Market Prices in China (Biweekly Report)
15 October 2008 - Spandex prices stayed stable in the last two weeks in China, resisting the general fall in commodity markets. Prices had already dramatically declined in the first half, resulting in production cut and also deteriorating financial results of spandex companies. Global producers like Hyosung would also be negatively affected by the current drop in prices after having significantly expanded their capacities in China and elsewhere.
