2 September 2005 - Indian exports of cotton home textiles boomed in the post-quota period, according to data supplied by India's Texprocil. Prices rose on average with sharp differences between products. Sales of cotton towels and cotton bedlinen skyrocketed, as India is currently benefiting from a series of advantages, compared with rival Pakistan.
